Crowd Funding Platform for dam removal!

We are very happy to announce that WWF Netherlands just launched the Dam Removal Crowd Funding Platform!

The site is hosted and fully supported by WWF Netherlands. Thanks to WWF NL this initiative started, and you can already check the first investments coming in!

For now, 3 dams have been chosen for crowd funding:

–   Removal Danube Delta Dams (Ukraine): 14,000 EUR.

–   Removal Sunny Bank Dam (UK): 3,000 EUR.

–   Removal Crosthwaite Dam (UK): 10,000 EUR.

We have several other dams listed as “coming soon” and we see this crowd funding platform as a potential platform that can grow strongly the coming years as on intermediate for “dam removal offers and investors”!
