Tackling barriers in Wales
Dealing with barriers in Wales is part of the day job for Natural Resources Wales and its partners – the 6 rivers trusts in Wales. In the future they will bring more news about achievements there, but for now here is a good example of a rock-ramp solution to a weir where full removal was not possible. This solution will secure free migration for a range of fish species, from large salmonids to smaller fish including bullhead.
