“As a seminar participant, the experience was excellent. The representation from different countries meant that the seminar was complete in all aspects, at a theoretical and practical level. Together, we observed that in all countries we have the same problem and have much river restoration work left to do; including, making society aware of the positive results of dam removal. Moreover, we learned about the many different examples of demolition in different countries, the specifics of those works, how they removed dams, and recorded results post-demolition.
