Magen Entertainment announced the global relaunch of #DamBusters: The Start of the Riverlution, the award-winning environmental documentary directed by Francisco Campos-Lopez, now available for free in multiple languages on the Magen Entertainment Platform. The relaunch marks a bold new chapter for the film and the global dam removal movement, powered by a landmark partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) as a global campaign partner, and supported by industry leaders Princeton Hydro, Renova Environmental Company, and Resource Environmental Solutions (RES).
Originally premiered at the European Rivers Summit in Brussels in 2022, #DamBusters follows Spanish environmentalist Pao Fernández Garrido on a journey across Europe, documenting the courageous individuals working to remove obsolete dams and restore free-flowing rivers. Co-produced by the World Fish Migration Foundation, WWF, and Magen Entertainment, and co-funded by Wetlands International Europe through the EU LIFE programme, the 68-minute feature has become a catalyst for river restoration awareness worldwide.
With this relaunch, #DamBusters becomes freely accessible to audiences around the world, with subtitles and dubbing in multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Finnish, Estonian, and Lithuanian. The film is now streaming at no cost on the Magen Entertainment Platform, eliminating barriers to access for educators, conservation organizations, communities, and anyone passionate about protecting our rivers.
