Swedish film
The removal of dams in Sweden is increasingly seen as a very effective ecological measure to restore river wildlife. The removals of the Sofieholm and Nianån hydropower dams, opening 80km of river to migratory fish, are examples of this. This is elegantly shown in this beautiful film made thanks to Freewater Pictures and Swedish anglers called “Många bäckar små” (“Many small streams”).
