During the end of November, Dam Removal Europe partner, Rewilding Europe, held a webinar with 10 ERN members – representing 16 people from seven European countries – to discuss dam removal and exchange experiences.
World Fish Migration Foundation and Rewilding Ukraine presented several cases, showing what it takes to remove river barriers. The webinar concluded with a presentation by Wouter Helmer, Rewilding Europe’s Senior Advisor Rewilding. He spoke about investible dam removal projects and the business models behind them.
